High Prairie School Division launched its now provincially recognized Career Coaching Program in 2013. Each Career Coach is positioned to guide and support students according to our mission: “To engage students in the development and implementation of their transition plans. Transition plans may include school programming, post-secondary and career planning”. Each high school in the division has a trained career practitioner.
Motivated students frame future plans that connect their school experiences to real-life situations. They are engaged in their own learning and they achieve academically. Career Coaching helps students envision a viable and captivating future through planning and personal growth.
