Students and staff have united throughout the division to pay tribute to and commemorate the courageous men and women who served in the war. Special assemblies were conducted across all schools, and we were honoured to host visits from community veterans. Students gained valuable insights into the wartime experience and conveyed their learnings through various mediums such as art, music, writing, and acts of service.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our veterans for generously sharing their stories with our students, to our dedicated staff for their planning and efforts throughout the week, and to our students for their respectful conduct, empathetic actions, and for carrying their knowledge, care, and empathy into our communities, and our broader world.
