Chris King Appointed as New Vice Principal of Kinuso School

This is the image for the news article titled Chris King Appointed as New Vice Principal of Kinuso SchoolHigh Prairie School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris King as the new Vice Principal of Kinuso School starting in the 2023-24 school year. 

Mr. King has over 14 years of classroom teaching experience, including time as a school administrator with Northland School Division. Chris has extensive experience teaching students in rural locations in Alberta, as well as experience teaching in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He is also an active member of the school community through his ongoing coaching of extracurriculars, including baseball, hockey, volleyball, and basketball. Mr. King additionally taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for four years in Ontario at Metropolitan College.

Mr. King has a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University in Ontario, where he was nominated for a Queen's Student Teaching Excellence award. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with honours from McMaster University. 

Mr. King will be assuming the role from Kevin Crosby, current vice principal of Kinuso School. Mr. Crosby is moving on to a new role in the fall.
