The Alberta Teachers’ Association designates one week each year as Substitute Teachers’ Appreciation Week. This is a time to recognize those teachers who are always on standby to quickly step in whenever they are needed to ensure continuity of learning for our students. Our schools could not function without a team of incredible substitute teachers.
